…and now for something entirely different! Time to kick off my LOST children’s books series. Desmond and Penny’s story is the first of many fairy tales planned and once it’s done we should get a nice book out of it. Whenever time allows, I will update more frequently. I hope you’ll come along for the ride with me!
So…..you’re going to have to be pretty familiar with The Big Bang Theory to really appreciate this. If you’re not then what are you waiting for! Familiarize yourself! It’s a great show.
You know what, though? For a show that makes so many references to nerd pop culture, I can’t remember a single reference to LOST in any of the episodes. Lots of BSG, Doctor Who, and Babylon 5 (man Sheldon really hates that show), but no LOST that I can recall. Weird, right? If I’m mistaken please call me on it.
Anyway, I love the show and if in some paradoxical sideways world or sometime in Desmond’s future should he and Penny happen to move to Pasadena and take up residence across the hall from a bunch of brainy geeks, well, that’d be alright by me.
“The Constant” is without a doubt one of the greatest things to ever grace the TV screen. It is my personal favorite LOST episode and this is my favorite moment.
In honor of this very special episode it’s time for a Twitter contest! If you would like to be entered in a drawing to win a pretty art print of this comic follow me on Twitter (@hellobampop) and retweet this tweet.
Deadline for the contest is next week when the next comic comes out. Winner will be announced here and on Twitter!
So we have this contraption in our shower. When you’re done showering you press the button on the front and it starts a beeping count down. Not unlike the beep on the Swan computer. At the end of the countdown it squirts shower cleaner all over the place. Supposed to prevent mold. The sound it makes when it squirts is like this fast tikka tikka sound and eerily similar to the sound of the Swan counter when it resets to 108. So whether I like it or not, LOST is on my mind EVERY TIME I SHOWER. I wondered about Desmond in my situation and a comic was born.
It would be awesome if Charles Widmore secretly loves Desmond. I reckon he has to be mean to Desmond just to help get him to where he is supposed to go. And how do Widmore and Eloise always know what Desmond is supposed to do and where he is supposed to be? Maybe the clue is sitting on Widmore’s desk.
I wanted something fun to think about every time we do a rewatch and we hit that season 2 patch of previously’s where Michael just screams at us. I think this will do the trick.
Once again Hurley echoes our own sentiments and Desmond shows up because I really just had to draw some Desmond.
