Dentists. Am I right? Halloween on the Island must be amazing. What with the dead things lying all around, the ghostly pirate ship, and things going tikka-tikka in the night. I can imagine Hurley would want to show Ben some of the things he probably missed growing up on a secret island.
Happy Halloween, you guys! Be safe and watch out for monsters!
Here’s one for the kids! The Walt at Fault cast matches up pretty nicely with the Dennis the Menace gang–Ben as Henry (Benry!), Juliet as Alice, and Tom (Mr. Friendly!) as grumpy old Mr. Wilson. Some original Walt at Fault strips are in the works, but it’s a kick to riff on Ketcham’s gags.
This particular episode evolved from a Dennis the Menace daily that originally ran in newspapers on 05/18/1954.
Awww dude. Okay the Cheech-Smokey joke was too easy, but it had to be done. Odds are pretty good that savvy Dharma scientists specializing in botany and conducting experiments on a secret, unpoliced tropical island during the seventies would be cultivating a crop of stuff that would make Nancy Botwin proud. Come on, all those plants in the Orchid? Please.
So Cheech comes to the island to visit the new man in charge, stumbles on to some wild Dharma sativa, starts trippin balls, fashions a Roger bong, and well, you get the picture.
Oh Walt, here you go freaking out adults again. This comic is inspired by an old Dennis the Menace daily by Hank Ketcham from 09/10/1953. I’m a big fan of the old Ketcham Dennis the Menace strips. Thank goodness for Fantagraphics and their wonderful Dennis the Menace reprint collections!
After re-watching the LOST “Room 23″ mobisode I thought it would be funny to turn Walt into a little Dennis terrorizing the Others. I’m certain Walt raised a ruckus over in Dharmaville and on Hydra Island. The Others seemed pretty eager to get rid of him. Poor kid. He gets kicked out everywhere he goes!
Episode 2! A valuable lesson for all you Others. Always always decompress!
When “Henry Gale” showed up in season 2 I was like, “Uh oh. This guy’s going to be trouble.” I remembered him from an old episode of The Practice. Boy was he CUH-RAY-ZEEEE on that! Incidentally, I can only recall 2 or 3 episodes of that show and I think Michael Emerson was in all of them. If that says anything about his performances it’s that the man sticks out. Just like his eyeballs! Hehe.
Here we go! Season 6 premiered tonight, so what better time for a LOST doujinshi webcomic to hit the block? Things will get a little prettier around here as I figure out wordpress, but till then the comics come first! I’ll keep these coming at least once a week. So fire up that RSS!
Kicking things off with one for the daddies. Most daddies get no love in LOST. Whatever happened to daddy getting the big piece of chicken? Maybe at Charlie’s house. Enjoy!
